An open platform for inclusion
Kompetensutvisning is part of a greater issue in Sweden and other places: extreme polarization instead of dialogue. But, it's kinda hard to have a dialogue on migration when there is no formal voice with foreigners.
The Dearly Deported started out as interviews with international professionals facing kompetensutvisning, which grew. After researching this for years (and being deported myself) I learned that engaging directly with foreign talent and providing nuanced, non-partisan information reduces polarization and increases dialogue.
The Dearly Deported is a an open, safe place for all people with foreign backgrounds to have their own voice for inclusion in Sweden. Also memes! This is how you submit.
